Suspicious vehicle in Tempe found to be full of ambulance supplies

PHOENIX – Police evacuated part of a student apartment complex early Sunday morning after a suspicious vehicle was found with unknown devices.

Officers were called to Vista del Sol in Tempe near Apache Boulevard and Rural Road around 1 a.m. for reports of a stolen vehicle.

When they arrived on scene, they saw devices that appeared to be suspicious and decided to evacuate part of the area.

According to the ASU Police Twitter, it was determined the contents were from an ambulance supply company and used in the medical field.

There is no ongoing threat.
