Shooting leaves 23-year-old man dead in Phoenix, suspect sought

PHOENIX — Phoenix police are looking for a suspect after a man was killed late Friday night near Interstate 17 and Camelback Road.
Officers located a 23-year-old male with gunshot wounds in front of a residence in the area of 2400 W. Hazelwood Street around 10:15 p.m.
The victim was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.
Police say an unknown suspect described as a male in his early 20’s, standing 5-foot-6 with black hair fled the area on foot.
