PHOENIX – The nation’s largest used vehicle seller is hiring after opening a new call center in Tempe this week.

The CarMax Customer Experience Center, at 1515 W. 14th Street near Broadway Road and Priest Drive, will have a workforce of 500 when fully staffed.

With 200 full-time customer service and sales openings remaining, the Virginia-based company will hold a hiring event at the new facility Tuesday and Wednesday at 3 p.m.-7 p.m.

Job seekers should RSVP here for the event, where offers will be made on the spot, or apply online.

No automotive experience is necessary. Spanish-speaking bilingual candidates can receive a pay premium.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held Wednesday at the Tempe location. It’s CarMax’s third Customer Experience Center, which supports the company’s flexible new shopping and financing system.

CarMax has appeared on Fortune’s list of the 100 best places to work for 15 consecutive years.

We want to hear from you.
