PHOENIX — A man was arrested Wednesday for allegedly stabbing a 15-year-old boy to death in Phoenix the previous day.
Police said Manuel Isideo Lopez, 22, was booked into 4th Avenue Jail on murder charges.
Officers on Tuesday responded to a call of a stabbing near 43rd Avenue and Indian School Road just after noon.
The teenager was taken to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead from his injuries.
Police did not identify a suspect at first but said they later established probable cause to arrest Lopez.
He was scheduled to appear in court Thursday.
