New video reveals Batkid’s exciting, crimefighting day

The Make-A-Wish Foundation Greater Bay Area has released a video showing Miles’ exciting day as crimefighting caped crusader “Batkid.”

The whole country was watching Batkid on Friday, Nov. 15, 2013, as Miles Scott, 5, battled the bank robbing Riddler and saved damsels — and mascots — in distress, alongside Batman, his hero.

They even stopped for burgers.

Scott, who lives in Northern California, has been battling leukemia for years, and the Make-A-Wish Foundation granted his wish in a big way: They completely transformed San Francisco into Gotham City for a whole day, with the help of thousands of volunteers.

In the new video, Batkid’s day is chronicled in a style that is part movie and part documentary but is 100% adorable.
