Christmas video delivers viral fame to family

Every Christmas season tons of ’tis-the-season cards, featuring stilted families dressed for the holidays, make their way through the mail to your home.
Most of those cards likely include a newsletter detailing the family’s exploits of the past year. Zzzz.
A North Carolina TV anchorman and his family have upped the ante with a video, “Christmas Jammies.” Penn Holderness, his wife Kim and kids Lola and Penn have a jingling good time rapping their “card.”
The video was closing in on 800,000 hits in six days, which likely will open the door to imitators as welcome as fruit cake.
