PHOENIX – For the second time recently, Thirsty Lion Gastropub & Grill is hiring for a new location.
The Oregon-based chain is staffing up its fifth Valley restaurant/bar, which is set to open Feb. 18 at 3077 W. Frye Road in the Chandler Viridian mixed-used development.
Thirsty Lion is looking to hire 120 workers, including servers, hosts, bartenders and front- and back-of-the-house positions.
Job seekers can apply online or attend in-person interviews to be held 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mondays-Saturdays at least through the end of January in the Sun Room of the Chandler Hyatt, 3535 W. Chandler Blvd.
Thirsty Lion will join Sicilian Butcher, which opened in December, and Panera as food options at Chandler Viridian, which also features office and retail space at the intersection of Loop 101 and Loop 202 just south of Chandler Fashion Center.
The 7,633-square-foot restaurant has a spacious indoor dining area plus an outdoor section with a bar, ample seating and a fire pit.
Thirsty Lion’s previous debut was in December at Desert Ridge Marketplace in north Phoenix.
The other Phoenix-area locations are at Tempe Marketplace, Scottsdale Fashion Square and Gilbert SanTan Village.
