PHOENIX – Soon-to-open entertainment center Mavrix in Scottsdale has scheduled nearly a week’s worth of hiring events to fill more than 100 positions.
Parent group Octane Entertainment plans to add 150 employees from interview sessions scheduled for 9 a.m.-1 p.m. Jan. 21 and Jan. 23 and noon-7 p.m. Jan. 22 and Jan. 24.
Job candidates have to register before going to one of the events, which will be held at Octane Speedway next to Mavrix.
Mavrix, near Loop 101 and Talking Stick Way, is expected to debut at the Pavilions at Talking Stick in February.
Hirees could wind up serving drinks or food, tending bar, working in the kitchen or hosting games.
The venue’s 22 bowling lanes, restaurant and bar, areas dedicated to billiards, laser tag and meeting space will take up more than 50,000 square feet next to Octane Raceway, a go-kart facility.
Guests will be able to move between Mavrix and Octane through a shared outdoor games patio.
The track facility also has an arcade, and game cards will be good at both venues.
