2 teens arrested after man shot in Phoenix; 2 suspects outstanding

PHOENIX — Two 15-year-old boys were arrested Thursday after a man was shot during an attempted armed robbery in Phoenix.
Police said four suspects approached a 66-year-old man’s vehicle on foot around 10 a.m. near Seventh and Southern avenues.
The group attempted to rob the man at gunpoint and then shot him, according to police. The victim was hospitalized in critical condition.
Officers apprehended the two boys at the scene, while a 20-year-old man and another man of an unspecified age fled.
The teens were charged with attempted murder, armed robbery, discharging a firearm at a structure and minor in possession of a firearm.
