Festival offering fine art and wine in Surprise this weekend

PHOENIX — If you’re looking for a sophisticated way to spend your weekend, the West Valley has a solution.
The Surprise Fine Art and Wine Festival returns for its eighth year Friday through Sunday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. each day.
Admission to the event at Mark Coronado Park near Paradise Lane and Bullard Avenue is $3 and parking is free.
For another $10, attendees receive an engraved wine glass and six tasting tickets. Additional tickets can be purchased for $1 each.

Displays from more than 80 artists will be featured, as well as live music and food trucks.
The festival is hosted by Thunderbird Artists and the city of Surprise’s Sports and Tourism Department.
Thunderbird Artists also puts on fine art and wine festivals in Carefree, Fountain Hills and Scottsdale throughout the year.
