CooperPoint Mutual recognized among industry’s best

When it comes to the worker’s compensation field, few if any are better than CopperPoint Mutual Insurance Company, formerly SCF Arizona.
“A.M. Best is an insurance industry certification of sorts that carriers apply for to credential them,” said Phyllis Senseman, Vice President of Marketing and Communications for CooperPoint Mutual.
The purpose of A.M. Best is basically to check up on insurers to make sure they follow through with paying claims and are financially stable. But it also looks to recognize some of the best in the business. CopperPoint Mutual is one of those companies.
“We’re very proud of the ‘A-, Excellent’ rating that we achieved,” said Senseman. “It’s a good thing. We’re very proud of it.”
CopperPoint Mutual was already recognized as being a great company when it was SCF Arizona. Senseman said the switched to becoming a private business will only improve things.
