Go Daddy to hire hundreds across Valley

May 29, 2013, 10:06 PM | Updated: 10:06 pm

Go Daddy is looking to hire hundreds of new employees for its numerous Valley centers.

“We hire all sorts of people,” said Go Daddy Social Media Operations Manager Alon Waisman. “I don’t think there are any requirements other than you’re an awesome person and care about our customers.”

With Go Daddy being an Internet company, many may worry that they are unqualified or not “techy” enough to get in, but Waisman said that is not the case.

“We have a very thorough training,” he said. “When you start at Go Daddy, you get six weeks of training. You start two weeks in the classroom and then you’re actually helping people on the floor but still in training for four weeks.”

When it comes to a career, Go Daddy is not one to look outside its own walls when it comes to filling roles.

“We like to hire from within, so if you want to get in with Go Daddy, a great place is right in our customer care organization,” said Go Daddy Chief People Officer Auguste Goldman.

The company also offers some of the best benefits in the industry, including benefits for same-sex partnership.
