The Emily Center at Phoenix Children’s Hospital offers families of sick children access to pediatric health information that is easy to understand and free of charge.
This pediatric health library was named in honor of Emily Anderson, who fought a rare form of leukemia for four years before succumbing to the disease days before her seventh birthday.
Emily’s parents founded the Emily Center in 1990 after being frustrated by the complexities of their daughter’s illness.
