4 Phoenix-area restaurants named to list of nation’s top 100

PHOENIX — Four restaurants in the Phoenix area were named among the 100 best in the U.S. this week.
OpenTable on Tuesday released its list of the nation’s best dining options, based on more than 12,000,000 reviews of over 30,000 restaurants.
Cafe Monarch in Old Town Scottsdale was recognized. The fine dining eatery has “incredible service” and “amazing cuisine,” according to OpenTable.
Kai, a restaurant at the Sheraton Grand at Wild Horse Pass in Chandler, was another pick.

“From the moment you enter until the moment you leave you are made to feel very special,” OpenTable stated.
Ocean 44, a seafood restaurant in central Scottsdale, was also on the list.
It was joined by Steak 44 in central Phoenix, where the food and service are “fabulous.” Steak 44 was also named the best overall restaurant in Phoenix and Arizona.
Steak 44, Cafe Monarch and Kai have made multiple appearances in OpenTable’s rankings over the past few years.
