PHOENIX — A group that runs some of the most popular Valley hangouts has opened a new restaurant and nightclub in north Scottsdale.

Evening Entertainment Group opened Chauncey Social on Thursday on Scottsdale Road near the Loop 101 Pima Freeway.

The nightclub has seating for about 130 guests inside and an additional 50-person wraparound outdoor dining space that overlooks Scottsdale Road.

“We’ve had our eye on north Scottsdale for several years because it’s such a fast-growing community home to both businesses and hotels as well as it being a highly desirable place for residents to settle in,” EEG owner Diane Corieri said in a press release.

On the restaurant side, the menu will feature American food for social hour and dinner.

Chauncey Social plans to open for lunch and weekend brunch in the new year, according to the release.

The nightclub will also host sporting and special events on its largest LED wall in addition to its 30 television screens.

Evening Entertainment Group also runs popular Valley hangouts such as Sandbar Mexican Grill, Bevvy, Bottled Blonde and Casa Amigos.
