PHOENIX – Several thousand customers in the far East Valley were temporarily without power Tuesday evening because of Salt River Project outages.

SRP’s outage map indicated the power went out for a total of about 3,200 hundred customers in four parts of Apache Junction around 4 p.m.

The utility was investigating the cause of the outages and estimated the power would restored by around 6 p.m.

By around 5:30 p.m., the power was back in three areas. The final outage, which impacted about 1,700 customers, was resolved before 6 p.m.

No other information was immediately available.
