Phoenix-based grocer Sprouts to hold hiring events next week
PHOENIX — Phoenix-based grocer Sprouts Farmers Market is looking to hire 1,000 people across the country during its National Day of Hiring next week.
On Dec. 17, the company will hold walk-in job interviews from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. at most of its nearly 340 stores.
Those interested can browse open positions, which include department managers, cashiers, clerks, receivers and scan coordinators, online.
“Our knowledgeable team members are instrumental as Sprouts expands healthy food access to communities from coast to coast,” Timmi Zalatoris, vice president of human resources, said in a press release.
According to the release, the company created 3,500 new jobs and promoted 28% of its team members last year. It employs more than 30,000 people in 22 states.
There are more than 30 Sprouts locations in the Phoenix area. The grocer continues to expand in the Valley, with plans for a 30,000-square-foot store in Cave Creek to open Feb. 19.
