PHOENIX – Here’s a concert announcement you oughta know about.

Alanis Morissette is making a Phoenix stop in the spring as she hits the road next year for the 25th anniversary of her breakthrough smash album “Jagged Little Pill.”

The 45-year-old Canadian singer/songwriter will take the stage at Ak-Chin Pavilion on June 10 with Garbage and Liz Phair opening the show.

Presales begin Tuesday, with sales to the general public starting at 11 a.m. Friday.

Morissette will have new music out by the time she gets to Phoenix, with her ninth studio album, “Such Pretty Forks in the Road,” coming out May 1. It will be her first new album since 2012’s “Havoc and Bright Lights.”

But fans can expect to hear the old favorites, including “You Oughta Know,” “Ironic” and “Hand in my Pocket,” that made “Jagged Little Pill” one of the best-selling albums of all time.

The 1995 blockbuster was actually Morissette’s third album, but it was her first to be released outside of Canada.

It rocketed the 21-year-old to superstardom and went on to sell more than 30 million copies and win five Grammy Awards, including album of the year.

More than two decades later, the album’s songs and themes became the basis of a new musical, which made its Broadway debut last week.

We want to hear from you.
