PHOENIX — Another California-based company is putting down roots in the Phoenix area.
The Greater Phoenix Economic Council announced Wednesday that Front, a corporate communication platform, is expanding into the Valley.
The company plans to create up to 50 jobs next year, according to a press release. It has not yet chosen a location.
According to the release, Front considered Salt Lake City and San Diego for its expansion but chose Phoenix due to its talent, competitive costs to do business, energy in its local startup scene and access to local resources.
“Another tech company has chosen Arizona to grow their business, a testament to the environment in our state that encourages innovation,” Gov. Doug Ducey said in the release.
“Arizona welcomes Front, and we look forward to the big things ahead for this company.”
Fortune named the company 2019’s best small workplace.
