PHOENIX – One Kiss goodbye to the Valley wasn’t enough.

The costumed rockers’ massive End of the Road farewell tour will hit Ak-Chin Pavilion in Phoenix on Sept. 29, 2020.

Presales begin Tuesday, and the general public gets its first shot at tickets Friday at 10 a.m.

In June 2018, bassist Gene Simmons revealed that the Rock and Roll Hall of Famers were making plans for a three-year farewell tour to end their four-plus-decade career with a bang.

One of early shows in the tour was at Gila River Arena in February 2019.

If the latest show announcements do indeed represent the band’s last performances, Phoenix will be very close to the end of the road. Only two shows are scheduled after the one at Ak-Chin Pavilion.

Long goodbyes are nothing new for Kiss.

A 2000-01 tour, which featured original members Simmons, guitarists Paul Stanley and Ace Frehley and drummer Peter Criss, was billed as their swansong.

However, the band was back on the road by 2003.

Guitarist Tommy Thayer and drummer Eric Singer are filling Frehley and Criss’ platform shoes during the current tour.

We want to hear from you.
