PHOENIX — Three men were injured when a fire broke out at a Glendale gas station Monday morning.
The men were workers contracted through Salt River Project, police said, and they were servicing a transformer when the fire started near 67th and Olive avenues.
Two victims — one in his 60s and the other in his 30s — were airlifted to a hospital with severe burns.
The third, in his 20s, was taken to the hospital by ground.
Police said the cause of the fire was under investigation.
