PHOENIX – Police arrested a suspect last week in a recent crime spree in Glendale that included an alleged attack on young woman and three armed robberies, authorities said Thursday.

Jer’Marion Moses Imasuku, 32 was booked Nov. 6 on four counts of armed robbery, three counts of aggravated assault, one count of violent sexual assault, one count of kidnapping, three counts of unlawful imprisonment, one count of unlawful flight from law enforcement and four counts of theft, according to a Glendale Police Department press release.

The spree started Oct. 30 when and 18-year-old woman reported being kidnapped and sexually assaulted when she was walking her puppy.

She said a man pulled her and the dog into his car and threatened her with a knife before sexually assaulting her, according to police.

The woman was able to escape, without her personal belongings or the puppy, and find someone to call 911, police said.

Then on Nov. 1, Glendale police responded to armed robbery calls at three businesses within a few miles of each other.

The suspect wore different Halloween costumes each time, including a hockey mask. The businesses targeted were a convenience store at 51st and Orangewood avenues, a motel near 59th and Glendale aveneues and a gas station near 51st and Olive avenues.

Descriptions of the suspect and his vehicle in the robberies matched reports from the woman who was attacked two days earlier, police said.

Detectives used evidence to connect Imasuku to all of the crimes, police said.
