PHOENIX – A West Valley woman has been accused of embezzling more than $300,000 from her employer over an 11-year span.
Last month, a state grand jury indicted Terri Lynn Rolston of Surprise on 63 counts for allegedly ripping off Orthopaedic Specialists of Central Arizona.
She was charged with two counts of fraudulent schemes and artifices, two counts of theft, one count of computer tampering and 58 counts of forgery.
Rolston was the office manager for the Prescott company from 2007 to 2018, according to a Tuesday press release from the Arizona Attorney General’s Office.
During that time, she allegedly falsified overtime pay records and forged dozens of company checks, according to the indictment.
The indictment lists 58 forged checks ranging from $156 to $9,300 and purportedly signed by doctors between March 2010 and February 2018.
The last one was for $2,500 and had “end of year bonus” written on the memo line.
