Police looking for suspect who pointed gun at man near ASU in Phoenix

PHOENIX — Arizona State University police were looking for a suspect who pulled a gun on someone Monday morning near the school’s downtown campus.

The victim told police he was sitting inside his car around 7 a.m. near First Avenue and Fillmore Street when the suspect pointed a gun at his passenger side window.

A second witness also reportedly told police he encountered the suspect and believed him to be under the influence or drugs or alcohol.

According to police, the suspect did not say anything and fled on foot. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and baggy, dark-colored jeans.
