PHOENIX — The Phoenix Zoo is hosting an event this weekend that’s sure to cause a spook or satisfy a sweet tooth.
The zoo’s Howl-O-Ween will be held from 6 to 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday.
The event will feature two different paths — scary or merry — based on customers’ preferences, according to a press release.
The scary path will include zombies and a host of Halloween-themed scare stations.
The merry path is more family-friendly, with a trick-or-treat trail, dance party, carousel and the zoo’s camels.
Tickets for Howl-O-Ween are $9.95 for Phoenix Zoo members and $12.95 for the general public. Children ages 2 and under are free.
Weapons that are part of a costume will be not allowed in the zoo, the release said.
