PHOENIX — Forbes Travel Guide on Tuesday named a luxury Scottsdale cocktail lounge to its list of the best hotel bars in the world.
The magazine sent inspectors to nearly 1,100 hotels across the globe to evaluate them based on hundreds of standards, which included aspects of the bars’ beverage menu, presentation, atmosphere and service.
The Thirsty Camel Lounge at the Phoenician Resort in Scottsdale, near 64th Street and Camelback Road, was recognized as one of the top 44 across the globe.
Forbes highlighted the bar’s $17 Cloud Nine cocktail, made with Belvedere vodka, St-Germain elderflower liqueur, lime juice, mint, cucumber, simple syrup and egg white.
