Celebrity chef Rachael Ray to meet with fans Tuesday in Tempe
PHOENIX — Celebrity chef Rachael Ray will be in the Valley on Tuesday night to promote her new book and meet fans.
The event with the Food Network star begins at 6:30 p.m. at the Changing Hands Bookstore near Guadalupe Road and McClintock Drive in Tempe.
Ticket packages for $35 include a signed copy of “Rachael Ray 50: Memories and Meals from a Sweet and Savory Life: A Cookbook” and admission for two people to the 7 p.m. or 8 p.m. photo line.
The book includes 125 new recipes, 25 essays on Ray’s journey to becoming a famous chef and Ray’s hand-drawn illustrations.
“Captured here are the moments and dishes Rachael finds most special, the ones she makes in her own home and that you won’t find on her television shows or in her magazine. Here are the memories that made her laugh out loud, or made her teary,” a book description states on Changing Hands’ website.
“The result is a collection that offers the perfect blend of kitchen and life wisdom, including thoughts on how we can all better serve the world and one another.”
Ray has written more than 20 cookbooks. She is the host of Food Network’s “30 Minute Meals,” “Rachael Ray’s Kids Cook-Off,” and “Week in a Day.”
