Phoenix Police are searching for the “first-aid felon” – a bank robber who’s going out of his way to go unrecognized.
“He’s been to known use fake mustaches, nose and even teeth,” said Phoenix Police Sergeant Darren Burch. “In his most recent bank robbery, he used gauzes and bandages to hide face, his identity.”
Since June of 2009, he’s robbed nine banks, primarily in the east Valley, according to authorities.
“He goes in line and then when he gets up to the teller, he produces a note,” said Burch. “In two of the incidences, he’s used a gun and threatened the teller.”
Police describe the suspect as Hispanic or Caucasian, between five feet nine inches tall to six feet three inches tall.
“Average build, maybe muscular. But, one thing that is distinct about him is he has either some type of pockmark or acne scars on his face,” said Burch.
