Just how good is the lock on your storage unit? There’s been a rash of burglaries at Glendale mini-storage facilities since the end of November 2006.
“In one of the burglaries, the suspects stole a large amount of army issued equipment,” says Phoenix Police Sergeant Paul Penzone. He says there’s concern about the military gear getting into the wrong hands.
“Investigators believe the suspects may be driving a white, four-door 1990 Cadillac Seville.”
One of the suspects may be a guy with the nickname Smokey. “Smokey is a Hispanic male, about 5-foot-11 with a thin build, 25 to 30 years old.”
