PHOENIX — A West Valley bus service is adjusting its routes by adding a continuous loop later this month.
Avondale’s Zoom neighborhood circulator bus service will launch its continuous loop route on Oct. 28, the city announced Wednesday in a press release.
The new route will replace the north and south routes and include two additional stops, at John Paul Catholic High School and the intersection of Litchfield and Indian School roads.
The Zoom uptown and downtown routes will stop at every route, which the north and south lines didn’t do.
The uptown route will go counterclockwise, while the downtown one will go clockwise.
The decision to adjust the routes was made following feedback from riders, according to the release.
The Zoom circulators travel through Avondale, Tolleson and Goodyear between 5:30 a.m. and 8 p.m. Monday through Friday and 6 a.m. to 5:30 p.m on weekends.
A ride costs 50 cents and exact change is required.
Ridership for 2018 was just over 190,000, according to the release.
