PHOENIX – A long-running annual Valley car auction has a new home for its 20th anniversary.
The 2020 Russo and Steele Collector Automobile Auctions will take place Jan. 15-19 on a 20-acre site on Scottsdale Road just south of the Loop 101 Pima Freeway, the auction house announced Tuesday.
“We are at the picture-perfect location for everything that has to do with Arizona Car Week,” Drew Alcazar, auction president and CEO, said in a press release.
“Our team has put together an incredible layout that gives sellers and buyers the best platform to experience an unforgettable year.”

According to the release, the new north Scottsdale site will feature the equivalent of five football fields of tents that will be highly visible from the freeway, along with more parking and a larger display area than previous years.
“I’ve never been more excited to have that microphone in my hand and feel the crowd’s energy from our unique ‘auction in the round’ format,” Alcazar said.
“This will be our chance to say thank you to the many close friends, clients, sponsors and vendors who have been rabidly loyal to Russo and Steele for two decades.”
The Russo and Steele auction had been held at the Salt River Fields spring training facility in recent years.
It’s been one of multiple auto auctions, including the venerable Barrett-Jackson event, held in the Valley each January.
