PHOENIX — The Maricopa County Home and Garden Show returns to WestWorld of Scottsdale this weekend and will offer a tiny home exhibit among other attractions.

Known as the largest home show in the southwest, the Maricopa County Home & Garden Show will take place Friday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and feature local small businesses, artisans and an assortment of home improvement companies from throughout the Valley.

The tiny home exhibit, known as the “Tiny Home Street of Dreams,” makes its debut in Scottsdale and will allow people to tour custom and luxury mini-mansions, a container home, double porch home, 2-story tiny homes and more.

“We’re excited to bring the popular Tiny Homes exhibit to Scottsdale for its big debut,” Show manager Katie Jones said in a press release.

Other activities include make-and-take crafts, a glass etching class, DIY demos and seminars, a sampling of unique honey flavors, dog tricks and obedience training tips as well as the option for a free walk-up landscape consultation and take-home design with landscaping professionals.

Those who want to take part in the landscape consultation are encouraged to bring existing backyard pictures and measurements.

General admission is $5 each day for adults, with kids ages 3-12 being $2. Children under the age of two are free.

A variety of discounts for general admission can be found on the official website.

Parking is $10 for onsite parking, with cash being the only method of payment accepted per the city of Scottsdale.

A large food court and ATMs will also be onsite at the cash-only facility.

A face covering is required for the event and while attendees are encouraged to bring their own, a complimentary disposable mask will be provided upon request, according to the release.

Other safety measures and guidelines include wider aisles for social distancing, handwashing and sanitizing stations as well as regular and thorough cleaning of the venue.

We want to hear from you.
