Mesa woman could be a contestant on next season of ‘The Bachelor’
PHOENIX — A 26-year-old Mesa woman is set to be a contestant on the next season of ABC’s hit show “The Bachelor.”
Jade Gilliland could be one of 33 women who vie for the love of bachelor Peter Weber in the show’s 24th season, it was announced Tuesday in a Facebook post.
Reality television pundit Reality Steve offered more information about Gilliland, noting that she is a flight attendant for Allegiant Airlines and apparently was married until last year.
Filming for the new season is expected to begin Friday, so Gilliland’s shot at love might be just around the corner.
It is possible she couldn’t make the final cut for the show.
Typically, the bachelor only selects from about 30 women or less during the first episode, so some could end up missing out.
Weber was known as “Pilot Pete” during his stint on the most recent season of “The Bachelorette” and Gilliland is a flight attendant, so it could be a perfect match.
The season’s first episode is set to air on Jan. 6 on ABC.
