PHOENIX — Arizona’s largest full-service Marriott is scheduled to open in Chandler toward the end of October.

A spokeswoman for the hotel chain said Tuesday that it is looking to hire 100 people before the opening.

The 182,000-square-foot property near Loop 202 and Price Road will have 264 rooms, a swimming pool, a fitness center and 26,000 square feet of event space.

It will also have Mediterranean restaurant Cafe MeSo and cocktail bar Proof 19 on site.

According to a press release, a variety of positions are open, including management, room attendants, engineers, front desk agents and bartenders.

Those interested can apply online, text “NEWJOBS” to 31996 or visit the Marriott Recruitment Center at 1490 S. Price Road.

The company owns more than 70 hotels in the Valley under a number of names, including Sheraton, Courtyard, Residence Inn and Aloft.

Marriott announced plans earlier this month to build a 13-story hotel in downtown Phoenix’s Arizona Center by 2021.

We want to hear from you.
