City of Tolleson to host free country music festival for VFW Post 6310

PHOENIX — The City of Tolleson will host the free City of Tolleson Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6310 County Festival at Veterans Park on Sept. 28.

The event will be highlighted by a five-act concert, food trucks, raffles, a teen calf roping contest, a mechanical bull riding contest and more.

All proceeds from the event will benefit VFW Post 6310.

Each contest will award first, second and third place prizes.

The concert, which starts and 3 p.m. and finishes at 11:45 p.m., is headlined by Carter Winter and will feature Mogollan, Sheri Rowe, Matt Ferris and Rob West.

In addition to all of the entertainment, kids will have plenty of fun options to choose from, as well.

The Kids Corral will host a petting zoo, lego western town, hat crafts and horseshoe crafts.

Attendees of the country fest have the option of purchasing a $10 VIP ticket for front row concert seating.

Gates to the festival open at 1 p.m.
