Power outage hits more than 1,000 SRP customers in Chandler

PHOENIX – More than 1,000 customers were without power in the East Valley for about two hours on Friday afternoon, according to SRP’s outage map.
The utility company was investigating the cause of the outage, which impacted the area of Chandler bordered by the Loop 101 Price Freeway on the west, Hartford Street on the east, Warner Road on the north and Galveston Street on the south.
The map said 1,031 customers were without electricity.
The outage was reported around 1:45 p.m., and power was back on by around 3:45 p.m.
No other information was immediately available.
