Arizona Game and Fish applications for spring hunts open only online
PHOENIX — Those looking to snag a spring hunting permit from the Arizona Game and Fish Department won’t have to apply the old-fashioned way anymore.
The department announced Wednesday that applications for spring 2020 are only being accepted online.
Previously, hunters had the option to submit paper applications.
The spring draw for turkey, javelina, bison and bear hunts opened Tuesday and the deadline to apply is Oct. 8, according to the release.
Applicants need an Arizona hunting license that is valid on the final day of the deadline period to be able to submit an application.
A yearly hunting licence costs $37 for Arizona residents.
To submit an application, visit AZGFD’s website.
