Interstate 10 reopened in West Valley at Dysart Road after crash

PHOENIX — Westbound lanes on Interstate 10 have reopened at Dysart Road after a Wednesday afternoon crash.

The Arizona Department of Transportation said the lanes were closed just before 11:30 a.m. They were back open around 12:10 p.m.

Arizona Department of Public Safety spokesman Bart Graves said the closure was due to a serious injury collision.

A sedan had a flat tire and was moving at about 20 mph when it was struck by another vehicle going much faster, he said.

ADOT said traffic was backed up to Loop 101, and drivers should take Loop 303 southbound to westbound I-10 to avoid delays.

No further information was available.
