Somos Peoria family festival to be held in late September

PHOENIX – The city of Peoria will be hosting the Somos Peoria festival on Sept. 28 that will feature an array of live music by Brenton Wood, The Latin Breed, and El Chicano.
The public family event will also include arts and crafts, food, and adult beverages.
General admission tickets cost $5 before 5 p.m. but will be raised to $10 if you arrive after 5 p.m.
Kids ages 12 and under are free, and there are also VIP tickets going for $35 on a first come, first-serve basis.
Parking for the event is free and there will be a free shuttle for those who decide to park at the City Hall Campus.
The shuttle will be in service from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. and will be picking up festival attendees every 15 minutes at the water fountain that is located on the north side of City Hall.
Those planning on attending the Somos Peoria celebration can bring lawn chairs, blankets, and sealed water bottles. However, glass containers, alcohol, bicycles and skateboards are not permitted.
The location of Somos Peoria is 83rd and Peoria avenue.
