PHOENIX – A computer outage took down operations at Motor Vehicle Division offices throughout the state Wednesday afternoon, authorities said.
The Arizona Department of Transportation announced the outage a little before 2 p.m. It was resolved later in the evening, the agency said Thursday morning.
ADOT said its offices were back up and running Thursday except for those in Avondale, Buckeye, Scottsdale and Wickenburg due to previously planned training.
The agency said about two-thirds of the MVD’s services are available anytime online at servicearizona.com and azmvdnow.az.gov.
A computer outage thru an outside MVD vendor resolved. Normal business today. Scheduled training means Avondale, Buckeye, Scottsdale & Wickenburg closed thru tomorrow. https://t.co/gwseO38v6T for other locations.
