PHOENIX — A California-based logistics company is relocating to the West Valley, with plans to create 300 jobs and be operational by fall 2020.
Quetico LLC closed Friday on 39 acres of land in Goodyear near 143rd Avenue and Yuma Road, according to a city press release.
The company will build a 719,250-square-foot warehouse and office space with an investment of over $45 million.
“We are so excited that Quetico chose Goodyear to expand and relocate its California operation,” Mayor Georgia Lord said in the release.

“Quality companies like Quetico, who choose to make their home in Goodyear, help us to build a stronger community.”
The company, founded in 1994, will keep a small location in Chino, California, for employees who cannot relocate, including those with disabilities hired in partnership with AbilityFirst.
The business also has smaller facilities in Canada, Mexico and Panama.
The relocation is just one of Goodyear’s recent business developments. A Nike plant, an Amazon facility and two new data centers are also planned for the city.
