PHOENIX — A new bar is coming to Tempe’s Mill Avenue next month and is hosting a music festival as a celebration.
Ted’s Refreshments will have its grand opening on Sept. 16, according to its website.
The bar, which brands itself as a “recreational drinking establishment and gathering hole,” is in the location of the former Blasted Barley, which closed in February.
Less than two weeks after the scheduled opening, the bar has plans to host a music festival.
The Hay Day Music Festival is set for Sept. 28 and Arizona band Roger Clyne & The Peacemakers will headline the event.
The festival will also feature performances from The Pistoleros, Las Calakas, The Hourglass Cats and Wise Money Orchestra.
General admission tickets are $40 if bought in advance and VIP tickets are $100. Day of show general admission tickets jump to $50 and VIP tickets to $120.
The festival will run from 2-11:30 p.m.
