PHOENIX — A Gilbert-based nutrition company doled out more than a million dollars in its second round of grants this year.
Isagenix International awarded $1.2 million to 40 nonprofits through its fundraising arm, the ISA Foundation, the company announced Friday in a press release.
Phoenix-based Make-A-Wish was among the largest grant recipients, accepting a $100,000 grant.
Overall, six nonprofits received $100,000 grants and all recipients were awarded with at least $2,500.
“The nonprofit community is a powerful force for good, so it’s a privilege to partner with these amazing grant recipients,” Erik Coover, Isagenix’s senior vice president of international marketing and culture, said in the release.
Isagenix awarded $665,400 in grants to nonprofits in January, according to the release.
The next round of grant applications for U.S.-based nonprofits will open Sept. 15.
The company will announce the recipients at its New Year Kickoff Event in Phoenix next January.
