PHOENIX – Authorities are concerned about the safety of a woman who was seen on surveillance footage being grabbed by a man and forced into his truck at a West Valley car wash this weekend.

The Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office on Monday released video and photos of the incident, which occurred a little past 6 p.m. Sunday behind the Clean Freak Car Wash at U.S. 60 (Grand Avenue) and 111th Avenue in Youngtown, just west of Sun City.

In an endangered person bulletin, the MCSO said the woman was Hispanic. She was estimated to be between 5-foot-5 and 5-foot-7 and 140-170 pounds and was wearing a black dress and sandals.

The truck driver, who is bald, was wearing a black T-shirt with white graphics and dark jeans.

He was driving a 2019 Chevrolet Silverado with California plate AE92W27 that was damaged on the passenger side when he sped off.

According to the bulletin, the woman was screaming for help as the man was chasing her. He forced her into the truck and drove off southbound on U.S. 60.

Anybody with information was asked to call 602-876-1011 or 602-876-TIPS (8477).

Update: Alfredo Espinoza, 41, was found with the victim in Wickenburg and arrested for assault Monday night. Police said he is the man in the video.
