The restaurant, which takes its name from types of wood used in the hearth on which its chefs prepare dry-aged steaks and premium seafood, touts itself as “a modern, wood-fired twist on the classic American steakhouse.”
The original location opened in 2015 in Chicago’s affluent Gold Coast neighborhood and boasts an award-winning wine cellar.
The menu for both locations was created by executive chef Danny Grant, who grew up in Scottsdale.
The Scottsdale menu has many of the same dishes the original site is known for, including a steak-and-lobster combo for $69, caviar that runs up to $220 an ounce and a fire-roasted seafood tower that will set you back anywhere from $49 to $184.
For those who can’t make up their minds, the “I Don’t Give a F*@k” tasting menu is available for $155.
“Sometimes a group of six to eight people come in and it’s hard to get on the same page with ordering. Now they can say, ‘Whatever you want to send me to eat, just send it, we don’t give a f*@k,’” Grant told Dining Out Chicago, explaining the item’s censored name.
