PHOENIX — With triple-digit temperatures a daily occurrence, cooling off can be a difficult task in the Arizona heat.

The Fantastic Fire Department is looking to make things easier for Valley residents this summer with three separate Splash Bashes in July and August.

The free events boast a fully-restored classic fire truck with 10,000 gallons of water, and includes spraying hoses, water cannons and squirt guns.

The Splash Bashes also have live entertainment and games for attendees.

The first event is set for July 26 at Queen Creek Marketplace, followed by the second bash at Crossroads Towne Center on July 27.

The third stop is set for Gilbert Gateway Towne Center on Aug. 3.

All three events are expected to run from 5:30-7:30 p.m.
