Rockin’ Taco Street Fest returning to Chandler for 8th year

PHOENIX — A taco street festival is returning to the East Valley for the eighth consecutive year this fall.

The Rockin’ Taco Street Fest will take place in Chandler on Sept. 14 and feature more than a dozen local restaurants and food trucks, according to a press release.

The festival, held at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park, will also have events such as wrestling, car shows, live music and eating competitions.

Landon Evans, owner of the agency that is putting on the festival, is preparing for 15,000 attendees, per the release.

The festival will be open from noon to 9 p.m. and general admission tickets can be purchased online for $10 until Aug. 2.

Tickets at the gate will cost $20 but can also be purchased for $10 at all Food City and Bashas’ locations throughout the Valley from Aug. 1 to Sept. 14. Kids 12 and under are free.

Some vendors that will be at the festival include Taco Guild, Someburros, Chronic Tacos and Elmer’s Taco.
