Phoenix ranked in top 50 most stressed cities in America

PHOENIX– Everyone experiences some type of stress eventually, but some cities are more likely to cause it than others.
In a recent study conducted by WalletHub, Phoenix ranked 43rd overall out of 182 cities on a list of the most stressed cities in the America.
Overall, Phoenix’s highest stress related category stemmed from family-related stress. Additionally, it ranked 69th for work stress, 64th for financial stress and 46th for health and safety stress.
According to the American Institute of Stress, work-related stress cost the U.S. industry over $300 billion each year.
Detroit checked in at the number one spot overall, and it placed second in family and health and safety stress ranks.
Fremont, Calif., ranked as the least stressed city overall in the study.
