Harkins to host space week in honor of moon landing’s 50th anniversary

PHOENIX — Harkins Theatres is providing a weeklong viewing experience in honor of the 50th anniversary of the historic Apollo 11 mission that landed men on the moon for the first time.
The movie theater chain is offering a $20 all-access pass at six Valley locations to see a rotation of five space-themed movies as part of its space week.
Space week will run from this Friday until July 18, the 50th anniversary of the landing.
The five movies available to patrons are “Apollo 11,” “Apollo 13,” “First Man,” “Gravity” and “Interstellar.”
Included in the all-access pass are special concession discounts that include $3 unlimited candies.
The six participating Valley locations are Peoria Arrowhead Fountains, Chandler Fashion, Goodyear Estrella Falls, Gilbert Santan Village, Scottsdale 101 and Tempe Marketplace.
