PHOENIX — A Taiwan-based tea shop plans to open its first Arizona location in a Phoenix shopping center later this summer.

Sharetea will offer teas mixed with milk, boba, pureed fruit and more at Desert Ridge Marketplace near Loop 101 and Tatum Boulevard.

The menu includes drinks like a matcha red bean milk tea, an Oreo ice blend with boba pearls and a taro ice blend with pudding.

Sharetea joins a wave of new restaurants and shops that have recently opened or will soon open at Desert Ridge, including speakeasy-style bar Pigtails, Indian restaurant Tikka Shack, comic book-themed restaurant ComicX and Victoria’s Secret PINK.

“Desert Ridge Marketplace is the perfect venue for our first Arizona location,” Tracy Tran, business developer and area manager of Sharetea, said in a press release.

“Our vibrant atmosphere and tasty beverages will provide North Valley residents a treat they can enjoy with friends and family.”

Sharetea first opened in Taipei, Taiwan, in 1992 and now has more than 450 stores in 18 countries.
